Time after Time, an exhibition curated by Morgan Morris at 10 Corso Como Shanghai, presents works by one of the most talented and influential designers in China: Song Tao.
To mark the opening of the exhibition Perfect Crossovers and 10 Corso Como organized a forum on Design. Leading design protagonists in China and the West were invited to present their respective practices and reflect on the design infrastructures in China. The forum was moderated by Morgan Morris and included contributions by Song Tao, featured designer, Kris Ruhs, artist, designer and jeweller, Hang Jian, director of Hangzhou Design Museum, Jia Wei, general manager of Poly International.

10 Corso Como is synonymous with fashion, art, design and gourmet. Its collaborations with leading designers add a glamorous note to its prestige in the industry. Song Tao x 10 Corso Como collaboration series marks the first collaboration between 10 Corso Como and a Chinese designer.

Young Designers Competition at 10 Corso Como Shanghai

10 Corso Como Shanghai, Perfect Crossovers and Song Tao initiated a design competition to promote young Chinese design talent whilst offering them an international platform to showcase their works. The young designers competition was launched during the opening weekend of Song Tao’s “Time After Time” Solo Exhibition at 10 Corso Como Shanghai.
The five outstanding candidates Frank Chou, Zhang Zhoujie, Wu Haoyu, Zhou Anbin, Chen Yanfei presented their works to judges Carla Sozzani, founder of 10 Corso Como, Kris Ruhs, designer and artist, Song Tao, designer and Morgan Morris, co-founder of Perfect Crossovers.
The competition will be promoted through the leading design site designboom, the public will have a chance to vote online through Weibo (the Chinese version twitter).
The winner will be given the opportunity to exhibit their work at 10 Corso Como Beijing during the 2016 edition of Beijing Design Week.

For this show with 10 Corso Como in Shanghai, Perfect Crossovers has chosen to present Marcel Wanders Personal Editions, a series of editioned pieces of a more experimental and exclusive nature, to portray the truly magical and passionate world of Marcel Wanders.
The exhibition showcases sculptures, chairs, wallpaper, ceramics, giving insight to the designer's more personal and poetical approach to form, material and function.
